HOW TO GET HERE?

The Russian air-companies carry out regular flights from different towns of our country. There are direct (non-stop) flights and transit (with one or several landings) flights as well. When buying air- tickets define precisely the flight’s time.

HOW MUCH MONEY SHOULD I BRING?

You will need money only for recreational activities in the town, alcohol beverages, and souvenirs as well as some expenses not included into the list of the paid services. You can use your VISA, MASTERCARD and FEDERAL EXPRESS credit cards. Nowadays there is a sufficient amount of the bank-machines. Some stores accept credit cards too.

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?

For float routes we use 16- or 14-foot rafts that are the most convenient and safest equipment for rafting. As kitchens we use large CAMPUS tents and for staying in there are 3-person tents (2men in a tent) made by different manufactures. For conducting our tours we use equipment needed for creating comfort and safety.

HOW LARGE IS PETROPAVLOVSK-KAMCHATSKIY?

By the Russian standard Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy is a middle size city with a total population of 210 thousand people. The total population of the Kamchatka region is about 300 thousand people.

HOW SAFE IS PETROPAVLOVSK?

Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy generally is safe. You can feel free to walk around the town at any time. Like anywhere in the world, you shouldn’t look for trouble and use common sense.

WHAT KIND OF FOOD WILL WE HAVE?

All tours include three meals a day. You will have a great opportunity to taste delicious Russian food. Some of our recipes represent the collection of traditional Russian foods from old times to our days, reflecting the spirit of Russian people.

WHAT KIND OF TRANSPORTATION DO YOU USE?

Our tours include transportation by a 6WD car and by a helicopter. We would like to show as many sights as possible and make your travel comfortable, interesting, and enjoyable. We would like you to have great memories from the trip to Kamchatka.

HOW LARGE ARE YOUR GROUPS?

The size of a group varies depending on a tour. The average group consists of 8-10 people.

ARE DOLLARS ACCEPTABLE IN RUSSIA AND WHAT IS THE EXCHANGE RATE?

Dollars are widely acceptable in Russia. However, in stores for purchases you will have to use Russian Rubles. There are many places where you would be able to exchange money. See the exchange rate below.
